Petro-Find Geochem Ltd, based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, provides geochemical consulting and unique exploration services and products to the oil and gas exploration industry in Western Canada and Worldwide. Petro-Find also conducts geochemical surveys for exploration of uranium using helium and hydrogen as pathfinders.

The President is Paul Lafleur who is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines in Geology and Engineering. He has altogether 14 years of experience as a consultant in geochemical surveys for hydrocarbons and years of experience in managing mineral exploration projects as well as conducting economic studies for petroleum and minerals.

Paul Lafleur is a Registered Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan. The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan has granted Paul Lafleur a License for Permission to Consult in the field of “Geological Engineering: mineral and energy economics; application of trace hydrocarbon and fixed gas analysis of soil gas to identify and characterize the presence of hydrocarbons and minerals.”.

Paul Lafleur has overall management responsibilities. A graduate chemist manages the laboratory analysis as well as the field work. Field personnel are hired on a contract basis to assist with the sampling function.

Petro-Find Geochem Ltd welcomes projects overseas, especially in winter when the climate negates any soil gas sampling in Canada. All soil gas samples are shipped to Saskatoon for chemical analysis. Vial samples can be shipped internationally without leakage within a period of at least five weeks.
